lyrics
Laid bare
no friendship here
nothing ever changes
laid bare
no family here
nothing ever changes for the better
every day's the fucking same
take your ailing worth and rake it over me
take your wiseacre remarks and break my back with them
when i pick myself up just fucking push me down
ill take your disembodied face and hide myself with it
your pain is what will comfort me
put your sunglasses on and hide those cavities in your eyes
take a deep breath cuz we all know you dont have too many of those left
pardon my reach im just trying to clean up gods mess he made
sick of waking up here
tell yourself life wont fail you like this ever again
sick of waking up here
Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
An ambitious reboot of ’00s sasscore—with a manic personality to match— SeeYouSpaceCowboy's Pure Noise debut brings the chaos. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 25, 2019
HONESTLY, the greatest thing to come out of 2020 so far (besides MAYBE Greg puciato’s solo debut, idk) I’ve been listening to it nonstop on repeat since the release holy crap waitWtfiAcdntlyBlwUpMyHoleFmly
