lyrics
Seven years a million endless nights disregard every compliment given here praying for the flood to take you out wondering if the flames might take you first you're fake and when I close my eyes I see a drunk whore throwing a drink in my face I see a lowlife douchebag stepping on my toes I see a fat clueless owner shaming me in front of a sea of trash I see the match catch blaze burning that motherfucker to the ground this place gives no solace my lifes worth more than this it's not about the party it's about what you're celebrating so keep singing these same tired ass songs while I celebrate the end watching it burn as the smoke fills my lungs disillusioned fake bravado lying through your teeth downtrodden defeating me self pretentious fucks open this can of worms blame it on my fucking attitude I saw them all dancing in the fire

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
